Wilburn Brewer, one of South Carolina's most respected litigators and a committed advocate of integrity and professionalism in the legal field, died Thursday, October 16, 2003. Mr. Brewer a beloved husband, father and friend, was 64.

Trudy Ennis

Trudy A. Ennis, a partner of Nexsen Pruet, passed away on February 9, 2010 after a courageous battle with cancer.

Daniel Fouts

Daniel W. Fouts, an exceptionally talented lawyer, a patient teacher, a learned scholar, a gentleman's gentleman, and a loyal friend, died on June 2, 2003. He will be dearly missed by his partners, fellow members at the bar, loyal clients, and his many friends.

Walter Hannah

Walter L. Hannah, a World War II veteran and highly respected member of the North Carolina bar, died June 5 in Greensboro. He was 87.  Watch video tribute.

James E. Holshouser

James E. Holshouser, the former governor of North Carolina who practiced with Nexsen Pruet’s Financial Services and Economic Development Group in Raleigh and made a lasting mark on public service and education in the Tar Heel State, died Monday June 17, 2013. He was 78.

Tom Pollard

Thomas B. Pollard, Jr., a United States Navy Officer, a founding partner of Nexsen Pruet and highly respected member of the South Carolina Bar died Tuesday, August 23, 2011 in Columbia.  He was 78.

Gene Pruet

Gene V. Pruet, a founding partner of Nexsen Pruet whose skill and personality made him a popular and highly regarded member of the South Carolina Bar, died Friday, November 28, 2008, in Falls Church, Virginia. He was 84.
